Naples is a neighborhood of Long Beach, California, built on the three islands in Alamitos Bay. The islands are divided by canals which open into the bay. A popular location for neighbors and visitors is the beautiful fountain in the center of Naples.

Arthur Parson built the islands of Naples in 1903 in the marshy Bixby Slough of Alamitos Bay. The project was completed in the 1920s, then rebuilt after the 1933 Long Beach earthquake. There is so much to love about Naples, including Overlook Park (aka Naples Plaza) and La Bella Fontana di Napoli park. Water activities abound with boating, swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding and more. There are numerous special events throughout the year, including the Christmas boat parade and gondola tours through the romantic Naples canal.
